I’m the girl in the picture! Yes, the one with the pom-poms and the “oops” face.

So… wanna hear a secret?
I’m not officially a cheerleader.
I kind of just… showed up to practice one day and yelled “GOOOOOO SOMEBODY!”

And they let me stay.

I’m very good at spinning. Not great at stopping. One time I did three flips and landed inside a trash can.
Five points for style.
Zero points for aim.

I once tried to cheer for my cat. He was not impressed. But I still think deep down he felt motivated.

Also, can we talk about how glitter just… lives in my room now? I clean it, and boom. More glitter. I think it’s alive.

I may forget the routines.
I may shout the wrong team name.
I may glue my pom-poms to the wrong hand.
But you know what?
Nobody brings the energy like I do.
